  • A friend's relative passed away much much earlier than expected. Planned to visit her, and possibly her relative just days before the bad news. Must be swift in showing kindness.
  • Observed different reactions toward the result of admission. A psychology lesson in attitudes was learned.
  • Another psychology lesson. An art major communicated with a science major on a trivial issue. Both parties fully utilized training they had received and thereby communicated in a very difficult channel.
  • Many/Much exams/work/interviews/job search. not much/many time /chance to experience living.
  • Had a nightmare couple nights ago. Integrated many people in my life into a single dream with a, needless to say, bizarre storyline.

Mathew 10:22 (NASB)
You will be hated by all because of My name, but it is the one who has endured to the end who will be saved.

One Day Heart Road

10:00
After working hard in the gym, felt like a panic attack was coming. Mourned for a friend's decision

13:00
Chatted with an old classmate. Wow, just really realized twenty something years has passed!

14:00
Reading Game Theory under a tree with breeze and sunlight, 簡直覺得係度歎緊世界!

16:00
Slept in the library for a moment? Did not time myself

20:00
Waiting for a friend outside a jewelry shop. A nail-size (little finger) jade was marked at $1,130,000. It did look beautiful. My life would be over if I agree with the value and spend most of my time for a little stone---a symbol for all the materialistic matters.

22:00
Caught up with a friend and found that we both learned a lot from failures.

Mathew 5-6 (NASB)

6:19-21
Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures to heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Mathew 2-4 (NASB)

4:4
But He answered and said, "It is written, 'MAN SHALL NOT LIVE ON BREAD ALONE, BUT ON EVERY WORD THAT PROCEEDS OUT OF THE MOUTH OF GOD,'"

From the logic of the above verse, the implication is that if we do not live on God's words, we are not truly LIVING.

There are certain things I want. When I could not get it, I am upset. This verse reminds me that I probably focus too much on worldly things rather than His words.
