By the time you are reading this, probably the girl in the TV might have passed away.

She was an 8-year-old girl from WuOn(吳安) of the Mainland China. Unlike other common children in villages, LauYang(勞洋) could not enjoy a carefree childhood, if she could still have one.

She had been suffering XP, a kind of skin cancer. Her face was completely disfigured because of small and large vicious tumors. In the summer flies would hover around her pus effused from wounds of the tumors, of which smelt abhorrently. Tumors near her nose had grown so large that she gradually lost her eyesight. She could not expose to sunlight since UV initialized the whole disease. Needless to say, she was socially isolated due to her appearance.

Could there be a glimmer of hope?

Her case was later discovered by some experts in the field. The doctors wanted to restore the way she looked by removing all the tumors. Unfortunately, cancers had grown not merely on the skin of her face, but instead part of her bones of the skull. One operation after the other led to the removal of some tumors, a left eye, a nose, and a palm size of skin and bone near the left cheek bone.

After 8-week stay in the hospital, she returned home in another disfigured form. The tumors as well as the smells were gone. But the permanent hole on her face remained. Worse, her cancer had indeed spread out.

Where does the future lie for the girl, an 8-year old?
